About
Hi, I'm Jordan.
I coach people who have full lives and not much spare time. Building them a plan that pretends otherwise helps nobody.

Puka Beach, Boracay. The sandcastle was not my work.
The short version
I got strong the slow way, because there wasn't a fast one
I didn't start as the guy in the gym photos. I started skinny, self-conscious, and convinced there was a secret: a supplement, a split, some trick everyone else already knew. There wasn't. There was showing up three times a week for a couple of years and getting slightly better at a small number of lifts.
What finally changed things was accepting that the boring version works and the exciting version doesn't. Once I stopped swapping routines every six weeks, my body caught up fast.

How I coach
Four things I'll keep repeating
01
Rice is not the enemy
Any coach whose first move is to take rice off a Filipino's plate has already lost the client and probably knows it. Portions and timing do the job. Culture stays.
02
Three real sessions beat six planned ones
The best programme is the one still running in March. I'd rather you train three times a week for a year than six times a week for five weeks.
03
Progress you can measure, or it didn't happen
More weight, more reps, better technique, or a set that used to feel brutal now feeling fine. If none of those moved, we change something.
04
No shame, ever
Nobody trains harder because a stranger made them feel bad. You'll get honesty from me, and patience alongside it.
Who I work with
Filipinos here, and Filipinos far from here
Nurses coming off night shift. OFWs in a shared flat with one pair of dumbbells and a landlord who hates noise. Students with a barangay gym and fifty pesos. Titas who've decided this is the year, finally.
What they share is a week that was already full before I turned up. That constraint shapes everything I write.

Whatever you've tried before and dropped says more about the plan than it does about you. Let's get you a better one.
